On 29th November 2015, we held our second social at Leeds City Art Gallery to view their latest exhibition and make media surrounding our experiences. Using DSLRs (Digital SLR Cameras), a GoPro and a handheld sound recorder...
Leeds was one of the four UK cities chosen to house the 2015 exhibition. We decided it would be a great location to hold one of our socials: getting to know eachother, testing our kit and discussing the exhibition together.
This first version of our short film interweaves soundscapes from our experience of the exhibition- alongside segments of our conversations from other socials and group discussions, as we explore what it is like to be international women in Leeds and our immigration experiences.
Please visit this link for details of the works which we interacted with , and which may feature in our short film.
