Summer And Sophie's Adventure

Sophie, my twin sister is reading our local newspaper. I don't know why she does, it's so boring! She told me that someone has created this new thing called a telephone, she says it will be "revolutionary" but it will never impact our little family. There is no way that we could afford one!-Summer

I had just finished reading the newspaper when I went up to the attic to look for a good book to read. I climbed the stairs thinking about what book to go for when I reached for the door handle it turned slowly a creaking noise going through my ears and then to my amazement what was inside the attic was quite extraordinary...-Sophie

I could hear Sophie calling me from the attic. I couldn't be bothered going away up there, but she was yelling like a banshee. So I walked sluggishly up the old creaking stairs and into the dusty attic, but I was not prepared of what was to come. For what stood before me was, a time machine!-Summer

I was shocked but never nervous I walked timidly towards the time-machine I sat in it and summer came towards me and sat in the back seat I looked around at all the buttons and stared at a big red one. My hand went towards it and before I new it my hand was on it.-Sophie

A screen appeared in front off us reading "You have arrived in the 1940s" We stepped out. We tried speaking to people but we were just ghosts. No one could see or hear us. We stepped into a large fancy looking house and sitting on the entrance table, was a telephone. It was black and had lots off buttons with numbers on them. Suddenly, a man walked into the room and fiddled with the buttons, then he picked up the phone and started talking to someone on the phone. Soon after we got back in the time machine to go on our next adventure.-Summer

As we get back into the time-machine I press the button again and the screen comes up 2017. Again we try and talk to people but no one can hear us then we see it in someone's hand a phone an amazing phone!-Sophie
