The Magic Paintbrush

Fiction about a girl and her father that are poor and find a magic paintbrush. A story by Poppy Turner put on line with help from her Dad and brother. This story is still a draft, we have just done Chapter 1.

Many many years ago by the edge of China two people lived happily together in a little wooden cottage beside a tiny beach with a turquois sea and pale sand. The two people were called Rinck and Yinda. Rinck was Yinga's beloved father.

Yinda was much and all kind hearted and everyday she wore a flower in her hair every bit as beautiful as she was. She had long silky black hair with her flower tucked behind her ear.

Rinck was very serious but also kindhearted at the same time. The two of them were both very poor.

At home there were things Yinda liked to do. She liked to go outside and play with the Chinese animals. She could understand them with the help of a magical amulet her mother gave her when she was little. One of her favourite animals was a panda bear.

Rinck liked to read books and play in the sand with Yinda. Life was cool.

One day yinda woke up to sound of whistling . At first she thought it was just th morning birds tweeting .
