Centre for Computational Geography, University of Leeds

A story about the organisation that gave me a long standing vocation.

In 1992 Stan Openshaw moved to Leeds and founded the CCG with Phil Rees. Stan dropped the focus on Human Geography as it was apparent that the computational science paradigm applied as much to all geography as it did to any one part.

In 1997 I did a Master of Arts Geographical Information Systems Dissertation on Road Traffic Accident Patterns with a focus on Leeds, UK.
