This is Andy Turner's version of the Pararchive story it deals with entropy, superposition, entanglement and geography.

Why Barrow? The English Chicago is at the end-of-the-world. Once an island, now a peninsula– that rhymes with “furnace”. Only one road in; no wonder the vampires come. The Octopus Collective has divided a cohort of ten artists, technologists and makers into pairs…and a resident chef. For the last week, they’ve been playing, inventing and creating together in a house in the middle of Barrow Park. Big Brother with geeks. I ran a similar lab with academics and technologists in the Summer. There’s something deeply satisfying about curating this kind of human alchemy. What will I find amongst this entanglement of people and ideas in the park at the end-of-the-world.
From Entanglement, Entropy by Imran Ali

I worked with Tim Banks who put me in touch with Simon Popple as he could sense a connection or knew of a need for geographical linked data expertise. Imagine my delight as I discovered that Imran was involved - a man who's path had crossed many times before at a nexus that involved cake and reconnection.

Hey everyone, my name is Imran Ali. For the next ten minutes or so, I thought I’d reflect on the design and technology approach to the Pararchive project and share some of the insights we’ve gained over the previous 18 months research, before we give everyone a quick demo of Yarn.
From Introducing Yarn by Imran Ali

Yarn was launched. Out of beta, the system is live ready for Be Curious and my next mooch around campus with my entourage of the day.
