We established our collective in March 2015, bringing together a network of women who have immigrated here as international students, and British women who support, study and work in sistership as part of this strong and important community. We are working collaboratively towards creating an interactive documentary which celebrates the lives and achievements of international students living in Leeds. Our collective is brought together by Kelly Zarins, a PhD student at Leeds Trinity University, initially as part of her practice-based research project. Through our practice-based research we are exploring how interactive documentaries can work as a tool for fledgling mediamakers from local community groups and collectives.
Leeds International Women's Filmmaking Collective has 1 collection and 45 items for you to use in your stories.
