A clay pipe factory, was built in Glasgow for William White & Son's in 1876-79, designed by architect Matthew Forsyth. The three remaining buildings are sited in the Gallowgate area. The buildings have some of the most intricate and ornate brickwork to be found anywhere in the city, which was inspired by Italian renaissance architecture.
